After Sunday's service has ended, you are invited to continue in fellowship with coffee hour. We call it Coffee Hour but it really is Fellowship Hour. This is a time after the church service has ended to talk with friends, meet new people, relax and enjoy conversation. Our hosts provide light refreshments, coffee, tea, lemonade and water. We also try to include a healthy alternative alongside our sweet treats so that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
We have two ongoing bible study groups: a Tuesday group and a Wednesday group. Both meet at 10:00 AM and offer new insights and good fellowship. Join Pastor Marsha for an hour-and-a-half of study with friends both old and new.
Meditation and Centering Prayer Group
Meditation/centering prayer/mindfulness/the practice of awareness...has a long, long tradition in the church dating back to its early history, particularly among what are known as the Desert Fathers. Unfortunately, the practice is not widely known as people gravitated to the busy, busy, 24/7, hectic, hurried lifestyle to which we seem to be so accustomed. Life does not have to be this way. One of the observations from the insert was prescient – the person wrote she still gets the same things done, but with a very different spirit. This practice really has been re-discovered by insurance companies and the medial field. Centering prayer has been demonstrated to have measurable impact on hypertension, pulse rates, anxiety, anger management, muscle tension, etc. One study indicated that 80% of doctor visits are from conditions contributed to, if not caused by, anxiety related issues. Spiritually, it is a profound way to live "in Christ".

The Faith Movie Club
The Faith Movie Club has been showing movies at 10:30 AM and 6:30 PM on the last Friday of the month (excluding holiday weeks). During school vacation weeks, there is usually a dinner followed by a movie for children and another movie for adults. This is an excellent way to socialize for people attending different worship services. Volunteers host these movie evening sand provide coffee and dessert for intermission.
The Chick Lits Book ClubWe have a book club and all are Welcome! Join us for book discussions and fellowship! If you wish to join us or would like to be put on the email list for future books and dates, please email Peggy Giordano at email@example.com.
Women’s Retreat at Calumet
Every fall the Women of Faith make a weekend retreat at Camp Calumet on Lake Ossipee NH. There's time for group study, hiking or walking, quiet personal time, relaxation, exercise (or outlet shopping), laughter, an evening campfire, and maybe even a dip in the lake. It’s a wonderful way to get to know each other better. The food is good and the fellowship even better!
Men's Weekend at Calumet
This weekend is all about taking time off from your busy schedule to concentrate on reconnecting with old friends while making new ones. It’s about finding some down time where you can relax and rejuvenate, play some cards, talk about the stresses and strains of daily life, and reflect on what it means to lead a good Christian life.
Book Groups & Retreats
Pastor Jon periodically leads book groups and retreats that meet to consider various topics concerning religion and our faith.
