Social Ministry

For the month of October we will be collecting nonperishable food items.



Reminder to 7th and 8th graders and families: Confirmation classes begin on Sunday, October 22. They will be held on Sundays at 8:30 AM and Wednesdays at 5:15 PM. There will NOT be a Sunday noon class offered this year.


Thinking about college?

Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio (one of over 20 U.S. colleges affiliated with the ELCA) allows ELCA pastors to nominate deserving high school seniors from the congregation for the Martin Luther Scholar Award, which provides an $80,000 scholarship ($20,000 per year for four years) to Lutheran students who are nominated by their pastors and who have at least a 3.5 GPA. What does it mean to live "in Christ"?

This group will meet on Sundays at 9:45. Each week they will have a different fun exercise to develop awareness of mindful living, living in this moment. The homework exercises will be the topic of discussion! Beginning Sunday October 22 and going for 4 more weeks. Sundays, October 22, 29, November 5, 12, and 19. Advent Concert

We will be joined by Celtic musician’s Michael O’Leary and harpist Carol McIntyre in presenting a very spiritual and meditative concert featuring song, music and a few scripture readings& prayers by Pastor Jon! Take some time to relax and meditate on the coming of the Light! Please join us for this very uplifting and inspirational concert during this Christmas Season. Take some time to quite your heart and let the Holy Spirit in and uplift you!

Bread & Roses

Did you know that Faith members help Habitat for Humanity on a regular basis? Come help work on houses and help serve our neighbors!
