Faith Lutheran Church is GROWING! Current
Sunday worship attendance is regularly 300 people. Nursery and Sunday
School classes are offered during the services and classrooms are
overflowing. The Sunday contemporary service is thriving. Five
Christmas services and numerous Christmas pageants bring joy to
hundreds. Additional pastoral supports, including an associate pastor
and youth minister have been added. With 780 baptized members and 260
of those being between infancy and senior high school age, FAITH’s
youth programs and ministries for all ages are flourishing!
For the latest information on BOF, please see our current
status
page.
For pictures of the new addition, see below.

FAITH is an “all week” church filled with Bible study groups, music
ministries, workshops, classes, retreats, the Logos Program, Youth
Serving God, Altar Guild, Prime Timers, Empty Nesters, First Communion
and Confirmation classes, a high school group, Vacation Bible School,
social fellowships, ministries and outreach programs.
Our current sanctuary, fellowship hall, meeting rooms and offices are
being strained to accommodate all our needs for worship, fellowship,
ministry and Christian education. What a blessing for FAITH to be
serving more children, more individuals and more families!

God has blessed us with a growing membership and all that takes place
here at FAITH Everyone will benefit from a better worship, narthex,
fellowship and Sunday school space. We hope you consider Faith Lutheran
as your “church home,” as your “church community” and as the place we
live in the Light of Jesus as witnesses to others and helpers to those
in need. We hope you agree that FAITH is a place where future
generations may come together and grow with God’s blessings. But it
costs money.
To pay for the construction of PHASE ONE, many of us have already
agreed to make significant monetary gifts. If you are one, thank you,
and please consider an additional gift. If you have not contributed to
the building fund, now is the time to join us and become part of the
plan. Blue colored giving envelopes are available at the church or from
the church Financial Secretary.
You can contribute in several ways. One-time gifts are always helpful
but a regular giving program is the preferred way to raise the amounts
needed. Just like automobiles and other items, periodic payments over
months or a few years often fit the family budget. Please contact The
church Financial Secretary to indicate your giving intentions so he can
plan ahead. Gifts of stocks and mutual funds are also handled
through the Financial Secretary. (Contact the church office for the
best way to contact the Financial Secretary.)
A mortgage is also planned to cover the gap between the cost of the new
space and funds gathered by the Building Fund campaign. It could be
zero, if we raise all the funds. Please help lower the mortgage by
giving to the building fund.
If you have questions regarding the Building On Faith project, please
see our Frequently Asked Questions Page.

We are Expanding our space to support our ministries. The project is
called "Building on Faith" or BOF and adds new space and reuses
existing space to meet these needs. The plan is now available for
viewing. There is a "Master Plan" that fills the planning needs listed
by the committee and a three-phase, multi-year construction plan to
meet these needs. The "Phase One" plan has been approved for
construction by the Congregation. Fund raising for Phase One is our
first priority. If additional construction monies are made available
(more pledges, bonds, loans), additional work "Phase Two" and "Phase
Three" are possible sooner.
The views are footprints and floor plans, 3-D model views and Computer
drawings. These views are not created by the architects but are created
by BOF members. The quality is less than views and presentations by the
architects but, we hope, is helpful to your understanding of the
project. There will be changes made as new ideas are added and problems
are solved. Click one of the plans below to see what is planned so far.
Note: For the
3-D model you need Microsoft PowerPoint.
